Viva Las Vegas
We came. We saw. We drank one too many glasses of champagne.
Last month I had the privilege of traveling to Vegas to attend two of my great friends Jessica and Al’s wedding! It took place in the penthouse suite of The Palms Place and it was nothing short of amazing
You know its going to be a fun trip when you show up to the airport and see 10 of your friends at the hotel bar at 8am. Before we knew it we landed in Vegas and went straight to the wedding welcome party at Daylight, an awesome day-club at Mandalay Bay. The weather was absolutely perfect and we spent the day soaking up the sun and laughing nonstop.
After we were all sunned out, we checked into the Palms Place. The Palm’s Place is a collection of private residence condos that is in a separate tower than the Palms hotel but connected through a fully-enclosed breezeway. We found a raved-about 1 bedroom condo on air bnb and it lived up to the hype! Linking it here. If you are planning a trip to Vegas, do yourself a favor and book this unit. You can thank me later,
Later on that night we ventured out with a group of friends to The Palms and went to The Palm’s new club Kaos and it was one of the coolest clubs I have ever been to!. After that we ate at an awesome diner called Lucky Penny, which we returned to later on in the trip because it was so good! They put goldfish on top of their Mac & cheese… can you say genius?!
The next day was spent at The Palms Place pool which had a mellow, laid-back vibe with drink and food service poolside. It was just what the doctor ordered and one of my favorite parts of the trip.
Before we knew it we were getting ready for the wedding and we had a few of our friends also attending the wedding over to our condo to hang out before venturing out to the wedding. We all took pictures on the balconies off our room and even had a runway show in the living room (you had to be there).
The wedding itself was so gorgeous and so special. I could not be more happy to be able to witness Al & Jess starting this new chapter! We spent the night dancing away with DJ Godzilla who is legit the best DJ I have ever witnessed. I linked his Wedding Wire profile here. He DJ’ed one of my other friends wedding in Vegas a few years ago and I am so glad Jess took my recommendation and hired him. He will 100% be the DJ at my wedding, bet on it ;)
All in all, the weekend was truly amazing and I feel so blessed to have so many incredible people in my life.
