Megan

Megan’s journey to her new home is a fun one. It all started with a quick phone call, a last-minute showing, and 45 days of craziness. Buckle up ;)

When I hung up after my first phone call with Megan, I knew she would be a dream client. She was so warm, decisive, and ready to start her search for her perfect home. Little did we know that search would not last long!

She was looking to move into her dream neighborhood in Fresno High, but there was a lot of moving parts in her decision-making process like selling her current home, lining up concurrent closings, and the like. She did spot one listing online that she liked— it was charming home on a tree-lined street with plenty of space for her and her two dogs (the cutest pups Winston + Wolfgang). The house even had a pool, multiple outdoor seating areas, and plenty of grass for the dogs— basically unheard of and impossible to find in Fresno High! We set up a showing for a few hours later… because why not?!

Later that evening we walked into the home and Megan knew it was ‘The One’. The only problem was we had to place her home on the market and get it sold. We put our heads together on a contingent offer, and as we submitted it Megan said that if it was meant to be, it would all work out. And boy was she was right!

The next day our offer was chosen over 2 others and we moved swiftly into escrow.

This is where the craziness begun— we promptly got Megan’s home up for sale and sold it within the first weekend it was on the market. Unfortunately the buyer canceled a few weeks later, putting our escrow on her new home in jeopardy. Thankfully we had an amazing backup offer that we were able to move forward with and our cancelled escrow was just a blip on the radar. Megan was cool, calm, and collected and kept the end goal of moving into her dream home on the forefront of her mind. Cue my earlier comment of why she was a 'dream client’!

Megan’s closing day on her new home was one to remember. Megan, her boyfriend, and my boyfriend/the loan officer for our transaction (love that!) all gathered at Megan’s new home. We sipped champagne and walked around the home dreaming up what Megan was going to do to the place to make it her own. It was such a sweet time to share together in this exciting new chapter of Megan’s life.

Congratulations Megan on your new home— you deserve it all and then some!
