Alfonso

I met Alfonso in early 2020— in the pre-COVID world that now seems like a distant memory. We discussed him purchasing his first home and put together a game plan on how to get him there. Then COVID hit, and as the state of California instated a stay at home order, Alfonso and I started his search for his new home. We had no idea how the real estate market would weather this COVID storm and boy were we right— the market remained very strong, competitive as ever, and interest rates hit record lows.

Alfonso is a veteran and I was determined to find him the perfect home. He made such a huge sacrifice for our country and I felt personally responsible to find him the best house ever. We virtually toured dozens of homes, and made almost a dozen offers. His price point and target area was extremely competitive, and with each rejection from sellers, Alfonso held out hope that the right house must be just around the corner.

One day, I sent Alfonso a text with a new listing that just came on the market and he knew it was the one. It was a spacious, upgraded home in the cutest neighborhood in the Clovis High area. It had a wickedly awesome backyard with sparkling pool and spa, and a built in BBQ area perfect for entertaining. We submitted an offer sight unseen and said a prayer. The next day we had a signed offer and away we ran to the closing table!

We had some financing bumps along the way, but our amazing lender Jessica Gonzales swooped in to save the day yet again. She was able to get our escrow closed EARLY— basically unheard of in this crazy market.

This last Friday we closed on his first home ON HIS BIRTHDAY. How much better does it get?!

Congratulations Alfonso! Thank you for your service to our country. It was an honor to help you in this process!
