Richelle + Jesse
I met Richelle and Jesse late last year after being connected through a mutual friend. The first time I met with this sweet couple I was blown away by how clear they were on what kind of home they wanted. They described to me their dream home— an open concept floorplan, tons of natural light, and a large backyard perfect for entertaining. Sometimes you just “click” with clients, and immediately following our first conversation I knew I would become fast friends with these two.
Spoiler Alert— I was right.
We hit the ground running searching for the perfect home but were met by a very challenging market. With a shortage of inventory of homes for sale came very serious competition between buyers, bidding wars, and our fair share of sleepless nights. Even in this challenging market, Richelle and Jesse kept their cool as we wrote multiple offers and spent our weekends househunting. After weeks of searching, we toured a gorgeous home in a quiet neighborhood that checked all their boxes. It was love at first sight. We wrote an offer (one of many that we had penned!) and crossed our fingers.
A few days later I was able to call Richelle and Jesse with the good news that their offer was accepted! The first thing Richelle said on the phone was “are you kidding?”— and then proceeded to scream as she passed on the good news to Jesse. It was such a fun moment to share with them as they realized they were one step closer to owning their own home.
The next few weeks were a fury of inspections, picking out design options, and counting down the days until closing. A short 19 days after delivering to Richelle and Jesse the good news that their offer was accepted, I was handing them keys to their new home!
Many times the best things in life are worth the wait. This home was no exception.
