Stephen and I go way back. One of my oldest friends and first ever clients (hello 2014 Mack Advantage!), we have seen each other through many stages of life. When Stephen called me late last year to tell he was thinking of buying a second home as an investment property, I was excited to help him get the process started.

We started his search looking at new construction homes as he was wanting a home that was brand new and low maintenance. We ended up finding a home relatively quickly that we thought would be a good fit. Because the home was still in the process of being built, there were many variables beyond our control though. Havoc on the builder’s end ended up ensuing, and we were forced to walk away from the deal.

Little did we know, the universe was conspiring all along to lead Stephen to an even better opportunity just around the corner! We found an awesome new construction deal for Stephen in the highly-sought after Riverstone community in Madera. Unlike the first time around, this builder delivered an incredible home and Stephen received keys to his brand new investment property!

Stephen’s story is a story of learning to trust the process. I am so grateful for clients like him who have entrusted me throughout the years to help them build their real estate portfolio.
